Macedonia Baptist Church has partnered with Duluti Initiative, Inc. to expand healthcare to expecting mothers and infants in Tanzania Africa. Duluti Imitative, Inc is a nonprofit organization created with the goal of improving the lives of the people in Tanzania Africa through Community Outreach Programs, Hospital-clinic Program and Educational Programs. Its focus is on making healthcare assessable to those in this designated community. Through Community Outreach the organization is able to identify potential participants, distribute funds for needed services by using designed liaison such as local church ministers to oversee the various services available. This program has successfully provided a number of women with prenatal medical care as well as nutrition and education throughout their pregnancies The Hospital’s Clinic Program was established to make healthcare more accessible to the public. Funds are provided to help defray the cost of medical care. Also equipment is purchased and provided to local hospitals or clinics.
